What Lewis & Clark Saw:
The Natural History of Philadelphia in the 1800's.
An illustrated presentation by
Dr. David Hewitt, Academy of Natural Science of Drexel University

The presentation will be held in the historic Library in the Pine Building at Pennsylvania Hospital.
Dr. Hewitt is a botanist with interests in ecology and the history of botany. His research includes field botany, microbiology, and paleontology.
A guided tour of the historic Pine Building will be conducted by Stacey Peeples, who is Curator and Lead Archivist at Pennsylvania Hospital, formally Special Collections Assistant at Princeton, who holds a B.A. and M.A. in History.
