Getting to Philadelphia:
By Plane
Philadelphia International Airport is served by the major domestic carriers,
with flights connecting more than 100 cities in the United States. There
are nearly 1,300 arrivals and departures daily. The regional rail line
connects the airport with Center City and includes stops at 30th Street
Station (Amtrak), Suburban Station, and Market East Station. One-way
cab fare to and from Center City is about $20. For information, stop
at one of the information booths in the airport terminal or call 215-937-6800.

Getting to Philadelphia:
By Bus
The Greyhound bus terminal is located at 10th and Filbert streets,
about 2 1/2 blocks from the Loews Hotel.

Getting to Philadelphia:
By Train
Amtrak trains serve Philadelphia from 30th Street Station, located at
30th and Market Streets. The station is approximately 18 blocks from
the Loews Hotel. Lots of taxicabs queue for customers outside the station.
Look for signs in the main terminal or ask at Information.

| Important Note: We strongly encourage those of you flying, training or busing to the annual meeting NOT to rent a car while attending the meeting. Hotel parking rates are currently $21/day and higher. Philadelphia is a walker’s delight. Taxicabs abound. Public transit is convenient and ADA compliant, and offers senior citizen discounts. |
Getting to Philadelphia: By Automobile
See the note above. While the cost saved by driving may more
than offset the expenses of parking, those driving may want to investigate
parking at or near the airport for the duration of the meeting. Alternatives
may include the short or long term parking at the airport, or one of
the valet companies that provide parking at the airport. From the airport,
take the R-1 SEPTA train to Center City. The Philadelphia Chapter does
not guarantee the safety of any vehicle or belongings left in vehicles.
