Frank Muhly and Chapter president Bob Weir find a few quiet
moments in the busy Louisville schedule to talk about plans
for 2003 in Philadelphia.

The "Falls Foundation" experience is part of the
important Eastern Legacy of the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
Members cruised the Ohio River on board the Belle of Louisville,
heard first person presentations from Meriwether Lewis and
York and talks about members of the Expedition, visited related
sites Mulberry Hill, Locust Grove, Falls of the Ohio State
Park, Jefferson County Memorial Forest, and the Filson Historical
Society, drove through Field Brothers country, had lunch at
Churchill Downs, enjoyed samples of Shawnee food, and took
part in meetings of the National Foundation and the Philadelphia
Chapter.
