ERNIE SCHUYLER spoke on the "Botanical Results of the Lewis and Clark Expedition." |

Dr. Schuyler demonstrated how University of Pennsylvnia botantist Dr. Benjamin Smith Barton taught Lewis how to press and preserve over 200 new plants on their trek and explained how they got back to the herbarium at the Academy of Natural Science (ANS). |
