Row of stately osage orange trees which, it is believed, grew from seeds or cuttings sent by Meriwether Lewis to Bernard McMahon. See also, in this churchyard cemetery, the graves of men who befriended Lewis and Clark, among them Charles Willson Peale and Nicholas Biddle.
