9. University of Pennsylvania Museum, 33rd and Spruce Streets

Fragments of two Mandan pots returned by Lewis and Clark and presently on long-term loan to the University Museum from the American Philosophical Society and the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia. One pot consists of a nearly complete rim and neck and about 14 body shards, and other of incomplete rim and neck and six fragments.
